Programme Description: This course aims to equip learners with practical skills and theoretical knowledge relevant to the beauty and spa services sector. Business acumen is required to manage within the sector, as well as excellence in technical skills across a range of spa and beauty treatments and therapies. To achieve this, the course will facilitate learners to develop applied business competencies in addition to specific beauty and spa technical skills to prepare them to contribute effectively in the wider industry of beauty and spa therapy.

- Learners will also complete diplomas with CIBTAC and CIDESCO
Special Entry Requirements:
- Successful completion of a level 5 Certificate in Beauty Therapy or equivalent
- Learners who have completed their level 5 programme in another centre will be required to provide evidence of qualifications
- Successful completion of an interview
- Applicants who hold previously obtained ITEC, CIBTAC or equivalent qualifications
- Applicants with relevant industry experience
Progression:
- The course will prepare graduates for a diverse range of career opportunities both in Ireland and abroad and they can expect to find employment in a variety of roles such as, spa/salon manager, business account manager, cosmetic/skincare representative, beauty therapist, advanced skincare therapist, beauty, and spa consultant.
