The BSc. (Hons) in Public Health and Health Promotion is a full-time four-year honours degree course.

Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board (KCETB) and South East Technological University are co-delivering this innovative Unified Tertiary Project at College of Further Education and Training, Kilkenny and SETU’s Waterford campus.
Complete the first year of a four-year degree at the College of Further Education and Training Kilkenny, followed by three years at SETU’s Waterford Campus.

On completion of Year 1, you will transfer to SETU’s Waterford campus to complete Years 2, 3 & to achieve the BSc. In Public Health and Health Promotion

Eligibility:
Those wishing to apply to the programme should meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- Leaving Certificate: 2H5 & 4O6/H7; English or Irish: O6/H7; Mathematics O6/H7, or
- Level 5 major award or equivalent
- If you are aged 23 or over and do not meet the minimum entry requirement, your application will be assessed based on merit. We will take into account your life experience, work or community experience.
If your first language is not English, B2 standard is required (or equivalent) on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in writing, reading, listening and speaking. Evidence of achievement of this standard is necessary for entry to the programme.
