Programme Description:

The BSc. (Hons) in IT Management from South East Technological University gives students exposure to the business and IT subjects that are much needed in industry. This qualification enables you to work as an IT professional in a vast array of organisations from small local companies to large multinationals. This is a critical role in any organisation as the efficient management of IT is vitally important for all aspects of a business.

This programme will give you the opportunity to access a third-level degree without any requirement for a CAO application.

Semester 2

On completion of Year 1 at CFETK, you will transfer to SETU’s Carlow campus to complete Years 2, 3 & to achieve the BSc. in Information Technology Management

Eligibility:

Those wishing to apply to the programme should meet the following minimum entry criteria:

  • Leaving Certificate: 2H5 & 4O6/H7; English or Irish: O6/H7; Mathematics O6/H7, or
  • Level 5 major award or equivalent.
  • If you are aged 23 or over and do not meet the minimum entry requirement, your application will be assessed based on merit. We will take into account your life experience, work or community experience.

Fees:

There are no registration fees for the first year of the programme. Students may be eligible to apply to SUSI for a grant from Year 1 that will cover fees for Years 2, 3 and 4.
