Programme Description:
This is a one-year course, focusing on practical hands-on experience with hand tools and various woodworking machinery, and how to use them safely, to create high quality wooden products. A high level of craftsmanship and innovation are a by-product of this course with students completing practical elements learning the processes involved, producing sketches and plans. Participants will be trained to a high level on woodworking techniques that can be brought forward into further education and training courses such as Art/Sculpture, Furniture Making, Carpentry students can progress to starting their own business.
